TBD Clay Club

Have you been wanting to play in clay? I have wanted to open my studio for a long time to do classes, coaching, and create space for other artists... and now it is happening!

Our intention is to support you achieve your goals in a fun, creative atmosphere.

The main intentions of the TBD Clay Club are:

To share the studio space, giving more people access to creating in clay
To grow a community of creative people interested in adding beauty to the world
To continue to learn/grow skills in different creative ways
To make Vallejo a resilient/vibrant community of makers, artists, and creators
To help make the studio space more financially sustainable with reliable income

What you get:

Access to: multiple wheels, firing discount (typically cone 05, cone5/6), large slab roller, extruder, lots of tools, some production glazes & and some commercial glazes that have been donated
Lounge area: couch, chairs, water kettle, tea, limited fridge space, wi-fi
Bathroom with shower (small hot water tank, so quick showers)
Small shelf/locker space to store personal items

Creative Coaching

Several options to choose from:

Pre-Requisite Introduction Class - $100 - (1-2 hours Instruction/+ studio time) - A one time intensive to learn: how the studio works, some clay basics, and then have time to work on/complete a project. We will create the perfect experience tailored just for you! This includes 3 hours in the studio with one on one instruction, and your clay/tools/firing of up to 2 pieces. This class is a prerequisite to the Coaching/Studio packages. Also included is hand crafted coffee/tea/beverage!

TBD Studio 3 Month Block - $550 (scheduled sessions) - Discounted package for 3 months paid up front.

TBD Studio Monthly Subscription - $200 (scheduled sessions) - This is for someone with some clay experience looking to explore their ceramic creativity. Get access to a professional ceramic studio... learn new skills, and/or explore a specific project. Month to month or subscription (discounted) in monthly/yearly options.

Home Creator Monthly Subscription- $100 (2 studio visit per month) - This level is for someone who is making most of their work at home, and wants a place to fire their work (firing service discount), take workshops, occasionally pop into the TBD Studio (glaze, collaborate, learn, etc). Minimal storage.

Home Creator - $250 - Discounted package for 3 months paid upfront.

Clay/Creativity Coaching Session - Put Micah's 30+ years of clay/creativity (as well as many years of coaching/teaching) experience to work for you! Each session will be tailored to what you want to learn, and work on. Want help with your wheel throwing, learning slip casting basics, or have a big project you want support with? Maybe you are looking to push past a creative wall, and don't want to go it alone... TreeBed Design is about creativity in community! Each session will be about 1-1.5 hours (with possibly more solo time), and be leverage to support you on your creative journey!
