Sorry, I had to with the post title. Lately, my friend's 11-year-old daughter has become obsessed with NYSNC, and it has made this 40-year-old auntie's heart SING! Now, I know this is Micah's blog, but I'm trying to get back into writing so here we are. NSYNC blog mentions, and random thoughts from Kristin are what yall get :) Mostly, I'm trying to see if he even reads these.

For Vallejo Art Walk this month, Micah will be solo while I head out early to celebrate my moms and some weekend camping. Please stop by, support, and wink at Micah for me while Im gone. He will have no idea what's happening. It's gonna be great. We are open ALL day on Friday, May 8th, starting at 10am and hanging out with the community for Art Walk, which goes from 5pm-9pm.

Micah will be back with music at Mare Island Brewery on First Street in Benicia on Sunday, May 17th! Please join us for a beer and some sweet Sunday tunes. It's always a nice vibe, and we love that MIBC supports so many artists and hosts live music at all their locations throughout the month. The full lineup is HERE.

Shanese from Modal Alchemy is back this month to share her Soundscape Tea Ceremony at TBD, and we are so excited to continue this special weekday offering. Please reserve your spot on her website for Wednesday, May 20th.

This month we're celebrating AAPI month with Alibi Bookshop just around the corner and co-hosting a special Mahjong Night on Friday, May 29th. Alibi will be reading the amazing The Joy Luck Club by Amy Tan for their May Book Club, and their discussion will take place on Thursday, May 29th at 7pm. We will be teaching mahjong (like my aunties taught me!) at Alibi AND at the TBD showroom the next evening on Friday night, starting around 4pm. Come to practice what you've learned or pick up a game with the OGs. No ticket is required, but donations are welcome to keep free events like this going throughout the year.

And then we are back with our end-of-the-month faves and co-hosting Coffee + Collage at Autonomous Gallery  on Sunday, May 31st. We hope you can make it!
