Mid-Autumn Festival Mahjong Party

As many of you have discovered, TBD has become the downtown mahjong club. 🙂 It makes me giggle to think of what my grandpa (Mr. Lee) would think of us now! One of his favorite things to celebrate each year was the Mid-Autumn Festival. He would reserve special tables for his friends and family to celebrate another year well-lived — and he loved sharing this tradition with people who had never been to a Chinese banquet-style meal before. So this is a special way we honor him and celebrate with our community.

Last year was a smaller gathering — and after watching our MJ community grow, we want to prepare for a few more tables this time around. 🀄

Tickets are available by donation. This helps us anticipate the number of guests and beginners joining a lesson, and the money will help pay for mooncakes, finger foods for the evening, and continuing to offer events like this.

Experienced Players — Arrive anytime 4:00–10:00pm, open play all night

Beginner Lesson 1 — Arrive anytime 4:00–6:30pm, lesson starts at 6:30pm

Beginner Lesson 2 — Arrive anytime 7:00–7:30pm, lesson starts at 7:30pm
